Itinerary
In the early morning, you will be picked up by your driver who will take you to the ferry port. After an hour on the ferry to the neighboring island of Santo Antão, your guide will be waiting for you at the port exit with your name.

Porto Novo

Here you will get to know about this city of Porto Novo. The only entrance and exit of the island, very busy due to the movement of locals arriving and departing, and with a dry and heavily volcanic landscape.

Estrada Velha

This is without any doubt the most amazing road in all over Cape Verde, This basalt stone road was built in 1962 to connect the north and south of the island, a road full of stunning and magnificent landscapes, with narrow passages and deep canyons and a very rich flora with trees such as pine, eucalyptus, Mimose, Acacia, among others.
You will also visit the Cova volcanic crater located at the highest point of the road where you will be impressed by the majestic view of the entire mountainous island. You are still going to visit Delgadinho, one of the steepest and narrowest roads on the island, with breathtaking scenery.

Ribeira Grande

This is a colourful city in the middle of 2 valleys which is a centre of agriculture and all others services as a bank, post, school among others.

Ponta Do Sol

This is a small fisher village located on the extreme north of this island which a touristic place and very important to know its history. An ancient capital city of the island with the largest fishing port on the island, featuring millennia-old constructions of Jewish and European origin and a beautiful coastal panorama.

Paul

Paúl is considered the greenest valley in all over Cape verde, the valley is full of water coming from the Cova Crater running to the sea, one of the most pleasant view of this valley you find here.
Here you will visit the Rum factory and taste a local product.
At the end of the journey you will drive back to porto Novo to pick your ferry up to mindelo via new road.
