Activity Description

This travel idea allows the traveler to experience the largest island of Cape Verde, discover the history behind its settlement and discovery, the power of colonialism, and the struggles for independence in Santiago, the capital island, all combined with mystical culture and volcanic landscapes, as well as wine cultivation that has been practiced for decades on the island of Fogo.
The main goal is to bring the visitor closer to the local communities and to explore as much of the remote culture as possible and share knowledge and stories with our local community.

Day 1 – Welcome in Praia
Transfer to your accommodation in the city center

Day 2 – Walikung City tour in Praia and Cidade Velha

Day 3 – Visit the community of Rabelados from Santiago

Day 4 – Experience inside Banana Plantation & Cooking Class

Day 5 – Flight to Fogo Island

Day 6 – Short hike inside vineyard planting & wine tasting

Day 7 – Back to Santiago

Day 8 – International Flight
